Shelby graduated Oakland University in 2013 with a BA in Cinema Studies and a minor in English Literature. In 2016 she was hired by Bill Proctor to create an online media presence for him to advocate for positive Justice Reform. Since then, she has spearheaded advocacy projects for the firm including the campaign that helped free Ray Gray, longest serving innocent inmate in the United States. Shelby spent her college years immersing herself in every form of the visual medium. From photography to modeling, directing films and creating mixed media, she has explored all aspects of art expression.
Broadcasting & Criticism
After graduating from university, Shelby worked at a video broadcasting company. There she assisted in live news television as well as writing politically driven content for publications.
During her spare time, Shelby dedicated her life to helping the wrongfully convicted and creating online campaigns to help free them. After 6 years of volunteering , she is now a firm partner.
